The identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has remained a mystery since the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin disappeared from view forever in 2010.
Now, Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery claims to have identified him.
According to Politico, the Cullen Hoback documentary is expected to air next Wednesday at 2 a.m. CET.
Not much is known at this time, but the synopsis for the film reads:
"In Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery, director Cullen Hoback delves into the origins of Bitcoin and the identity of its creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. The documentary offers a gripping investigation as Hoback delves into the motives and personalities of key players, uncovering never-before-seen clues and humorously unraveling Bitcoin's meteoric rise.
If the findings are widely accepted, it could send shockwaves through financial markets and even the US presidential election, given how Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump has courted Bitcoin enthusiasts.”
Hoback, the creator of the documentary, is also known for his series called “Q: Into the Storm,” which debunked the QAnon conspiracy theorists.
